Professional Programming Services, Inc. is an authorized dealer of all Thoroughbred Basic products, including Thoroughbred's ODBC Client / Server technology. However, due to popular demand, PPS now offers a 100% server based alternative to ODBC. - ASCCOM Import / Export Utility.

	Export / Import file(s) in Comma Separated Variable (.CSV) or any other ASCII Format.
	100% Server based - No additional cost for Client side software license or desktop configuration.
	Works with any application including applications that are not ODBC enabled.
	Bi-directional - ASCCOM will import & export your data to & from any external database.
	Security - ASCCOM allows you to administer a user's (read and/or write) access to data.
	Compatible with any connection type including non-PPP dialup, Serial as well as network connections.
	Field Conversion - Automatically convert an internal item code to a customer's part number or vice-versa.

How It Works
ASCCOM is driven by user defined templates that describe both internal and external formatting information and criteria. Once defined a single template can then be used to export internal data to an external database or vice versa. Criteria can be used to limit the scope of records to be processed or to substitute values during import or export functions. All templates can be saved for future access or applications.
